Supporting Salisbury; Then, Now, Always

Planned gifts, such as bequests and gifts in wills, are critical to our mission of instilling in our boys a vibrant enthusiasm for learning and the self-confidence needed for intellectual, physical, moral and spiritual development. These gifts provide long-term support, ensuring that we can continue to make a positive impact on Salisbury boys for years to come.

Crosby Foster ’57, Trustee Emeritus: Supporting Salisbury; Then, Now, Always

“When my wife Sally and I were deciding how to make a significant donation to Salisbury back 25 years ago, we decided that a Charitable Remainder Trust (CRUT) would be the best choice. At the time we could not afford a sizable lump sum gift. The choice of a CRUT made good sense because we would receive quarterly interest payments on the current value of the trust (as determined on 12/31 of each year) up until the last one of us to meet our maker. In retirement we have found that the proceeds from the trust have made it easier to budget knowing the exact yearly payout. The high interest rate environment like we are in now can earn a good rate going forward. Our CRUT pays us seven percent, which has been more than twice the prime rate for well over half the 25 years.”

We’re here to help you meet your goals!

Our team would be happy to speak with you in confidence about your giving goals, with no obligation.
